Group bookings and functions
Tables for six to fourteen during trade, or the whole room on a Sunday morning.
During normal trade we hold tables for groups of six to fourteen, with a set menu so the kitchen can get fourteen plates out together instead of in three waves. Outside trade we hire the whole room on Sunday mornings for christenings, birthdays and wakes. It is a small room with about thirty seats, so it suits a group that wants to hear each other rather than a party.
What is included
- Set menu of two courses plus coffee
- One table, one bill, split however you like
- Highchairs and a pram corner by the window
- Exclusive use of the room available Sundays, 8:00am to 11:00am

- We send back a set menu and a per head price
- Confirm a week out with final numbers
- Deposit only on exclusive use bookings

Do you take bookings for two?
Not during the week. Tables of one to five are walk in only, which is what keeps the wait under ten minutes most mornings.

How many people fit in the room?
Thirty seated, or about forty standing if you take exclusive use and we move the two window tables out.

Can we bring a cake?
Yes, with no cakeage charge. Tell us in advance and we will have plates, a knife and somewhere cold to keep it.
- Espresso and filter coffee $5 to $8 House blend ground for every single shot, plus one rotating single origin on filter.
- Breakfast $12 to $28 Cooked breakfast from open until 11:30am, built around eggs, mushrooms and good sourdough.
- Lunch $15 to $29 A short lunch board from 11:30am, with toasted sandwiches, grain bowls and one hot special.
