Retail beans and home brewing
House blend and single origin by the bag, plus the small amount of gear we actually use.
The shelf behind the counter holds the house blend and the current single origin in 250 gram and one kilogram bags, roasted on a fortnightly cycle so nothing sits on it long. We also keep a short list of home gear: a filter cone, papers, a hand grinder and a stoneware cup. We do not stock anything we have not used ourselves at home, which is why the list is short.

Questions about this
Retail beans and home brewing, answered
-
Will you grind it for me?
Yes, at no charge, and we will ask what you brew on so the grind actually suits it. Whole bean keeps better if you have a grinder at home.
-
How fresh are the bags?
Every bag carries its roast date. We take a delivery each fortnight and pull anything older than four weeks off the shelf.
- Espresso and filter coffee $5 to $8 House blend ground for every single shot, plus one rotating single origin on filter.
- Breakfast $12 to $28 Cooked breakfast from open until 11:30am, built around eggs, mushrooms and good sourdough.
- Lunch $15 to $29 A short lunch board from 11:30am, with toasted sandwiches, grain bowls and one hot special.
